Ciampinoi cable car

Up, up and away into the lofty heights of Ciampinoi with the cable car of the same name in Selva di Gardena! The modern ski lift was completed in 1970 in time for the World Ski Championships and since then, has carried innumerable skiers and in summer, hikers from the centre of the village up to Ciampinoi in spacious closed cable car cabins. In only a few minutes the cable car takes you to a station 2,260 m above sea level, from where you can set out along amazingly beautiful hiking trails and enjoy fascinating views over the Dolomites and their valleys. In winter the ski slopes await you with their invitation to skiers to take up the exciting challenge of racing back down again.
